Frequently Asked Questions
-
The Cozy Collective is a nurturing online space dedicated to gentle healing and personal growth. Founded on principles of creating safety within, I offer educational resources, guides, and community support designed for adults healing from early loss, attachment wounding, and those who identify as highly sensitive. While my signature approach is The Cozy Method, I'm growing the space to include more resources, collaborations with guest healers, and eventually in-person experiences.
-
My approach combines professional knowledge with personal understanding. Everything I create is rooted in the belief that healing happens most effectively when we honor our nervous system's need for safety. Rather than pushing through discomfort, I focus on creating comfort first. I'm also transparent about being in the "messy middle" of my own healing journey alongside you.
-
The Cozy Method is my signature approach that guides people toward creating inner safety through gentle, practical practices. It forms the philosophical foundation for all my work and is available in multiple formats: as individual guides you can explore at your own pace or as a cohort experience with community support.
-
I believe healing resources should be accessible to everyone. For all my offerings, you choose any contribution amount that feels right for you—even $1. This isn't about devaluing the work; it's about ensuring those who need this gentle approach can access it regardless of their financial circumstances.
-
Currently, I offer:
Individual Cozy Guides
Blog articles exploring topics related to healing from a trauma-informed perspective
The Cozy Method 12-week program
Social media content with regular insights and reflections
My newsletter, The Cozy Nook, delivering micro doses of calm straight to your inbox
-
Individual guides offer flexibility to explore specific topics at your own pace. The cohort experience provides structured support through The Cozy Method with weekly group calls, community connection, and direct guidance from me through the full 12-week journey.
-
Absolutely! I designed the individual guides to give you a feel for my approach before joining a cohort where you'll receive deeper community support.
-
You'll have practical tools for:
Processing and reflecting on your experiences with compassion
Meeting unmet attachment needs from childhood
Responding to yourself with kindness rather than criticism
Expressing yourself authentically
Setting healthy boundaries while maintaining connection
Building self-trust and inner safety
Navigating relationships with greater ease
Most importantly, you'll have sustainable ways to nurture a caring relationship with yourself that can continue to evolve long after the program ends.
-
While I bring my background in therapy (MA in Couple and Family Therapy) to this work, my offerings are educational in nature and complement but don't replace professional therapeutic support. I encourage maintaining any existing therapeutic relationships.
-
Your support means so much, and there are several ways to help beyond financial contributions:
Share your experience by writing a testimonial
Tell friends or loved ones who might benefit from this gentle approach to healing
Engage with my content on social media (likes, comments, and shares help me reach more people)
Join my newsletter to stay connected
Offer your skills or expertise if you feel called to contribute in other ways
Every form of support helps create a ripple effect, allowing more people to access these gentle healing resources.
-
Please! I'm actively seeking to collaborate with other healers, educators, and creators who share my values around gentle, trauma-informed approaches to growth. I offer cohorts periodically throughout the year, with plans to include both general cohorts and ones with specific themes. Sign up for my newsletter to receive announcements about upcoming dates.
-
Not at all. While my approach was developed with early loss and attachment wounding in mind, my gentle, compassion-based practices can benefit anyone seeking a more nurturing relationship with themselves. Those who identify as highly sensitive may find my approach particularly resonant.
-
The best way to stay connected is by joining my newsletter, The Cozy Nook, and following me on Instagram (@leanintothecozy). This ensures you'll be first to know about new guides, cohort dates, and future in-person experiences.
